RELATED ORGANIZATIONS

Integrity (www.integrityusa.org): Integrity is a nonprofit organization of GLBT Episcopalians founded in 1974 and has been a leading voice for full inclusion of GLBT Episcopalians in the church. This organization concerns itself with advocacy and political action. Integrity maintains both local chapters and diocesan networks in this country. Both the Newark and California Oasis groups are members of Integrity.

Claiming the Blessing (www.claimingtheblessing.org): CLAIMING the BLESSING is an intentional collaborative ministry of leading Episcopal justice organizations including Integrity, all three Oasis groups, Beyond Inclusion and the Episcopal Women's Caucus. Claiming the Blessing is focused on promoting wholeness in human relationships, abolishing prejudice and oppression, and healing the rift between sexuality and spirituality in the Church.

Episcopal Women’s Caucus (www.ewc-ecusa.org): This group is concerned mainly with the full inclusion of women in the church but also supports GLBT causes.

Beyond Inclusion (www.beyondinclusion.org): Beyond Inclusion plays a cooperative role in the work of convincing the Episcopal Church to develop rites for the blessing of couples living in life-long committed relationships other than marriage.

Other Oasis Groups The Newark Oasis (Diocese of Newark, NJ) is the oldest of the Oasis organizations but there are also Oasis groups in California (www.oasiscalifornia.org), Michigan (oasismichigan.org), and Missouri (www.missouri.anglican.org/GLM.htm).
